Wait... Moses Is Dead?

What a spiritual high!!  We felt the spirit SO THICC in the apartment all week! We had crazy miracles that ended in the IMPOSSIBLE!! A BASHER?!?! TURNED INVESTIGATOR?!?! Aaaaand a friend we're teaching brought us so many groceries!!! It was so amazing! It's almost too easy;)  This quad is so blessed! We've already had so much fun together!!  My spiritual thought this week is from the prophet himself! In the last conference Pres Nelson dropped an insane talk about peacemaking!! I loved this direct and simple quote, "If a couple in your ward gets divorced, or a young missionary returns home early, or a teenager doubts his testimony, they do not need your judgment. They need to experience the pure love of Jesus Christ reflected in your words and actions." Please heed his counsel!! God never puts us in a position in which we are called to judge and condemn. Always lead with love and assume people's best intentions. In return you will attain christlike charity to s

Year Of The Buffalo

Moved to Mandeville and got my new missionary this week!  It was killer to say bye to ANOTHER golden area!! I am so grateful to have met so many incredible people in so many different places, but goodbye never gets easier :'( Already loving this area, but so do the roaches- this apt has the biggest ones I've ever seen AHHH  Sister Peterson is the coolest! She's on reassignment from Spain, so we don't know how long she'll be here:( but it makes for an excited little YOLO attitude towards each day!!  One of our members said she's calling this the year of the buffalo- because apparently when buffalo see a storm coming they won't run from it. They actually wait until it's right on them then run through it to be in the actual storm as little as possible. That inspired her to be the same way about the storms of life! So now we're all in on it too, taking life's storms head on- with courage and determination! I think the scriptures say something like th

This week was a good last one in Gulfport! We got T-news and I'm transferring again!! I'll be training a new missionary in Mandeville- headed back to LA!  One of our members had us over for a crawfish boil!! It was a delicious way to burn off my tastebuds Easter sunday was blessed! While walking the streets we ran into a family having a party- they invited us over to eat with them and turns out they'd been to the temple open house! We talked for a while about eternal families, it was the best way to spend the day:)  I was so grateful for the opportunity to spend Easter in service of my Savior. Jesus Christ lives! He loves you and has made the way back to our Father in Heaven possible, love yall!

Jennifer Conference

This week we had exchanges! We biked the beach hood and saw SO many miracles, every door turned into a lesson- it blew my mind.  President Amos flew to SLC for conference to be sustained as an area seventy! #proud  We also did lots of ministering to each other as missionaries this week! Who knew that a rough night can be turned around by some five guys fries from the OG elders:) This weekend was really one of the hardest I've had here on the mish. My lil brother Tyler spent the weekend in the hospital from a hit he took playing rugby. With all that went on with our missionaries I wasn't able to really feel the full force of stress or grief until today. I can't believe the difficulty it is to be so far from my family and community for this. While it was a miracle and a half to find his brain, spine, and neck in tact, I'm truly in agony that I can't give my best friend a hug and cry with my parents. I'm only consoled by the overwhelming lov
