Date Night

Long time no see yall:))

Haha it was a good weekend. Went out with bishop and his wife Friday night, which we found out was their date night!! Nothing more romantic than hanging out with Sister missionaries ig LOL. We had three incredible lessons, two were with our friends on date Caitlyn and Star! Caitlyn brought her boys to church yesterday and it made my heart so happy!! 

Our third lesson was with a gray dot that I picked out because we have the same name! She's way cooler than me tho and spells it Emelie Frazer. She was amazing and now we're teaching her! 

Since it was a short lil email here's a spiritual snack for yall. 

"And now, behold, because ye have tried the experiment, and planted the seed, and it swelleth and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow, ye must needs know that the seed is good. And now, behold, is your knowledge perfect? Yea, your knowledge is perfect in that thing, and your faith is dormant; and this because you know, for ye know that the word hath swelled your souls, and ye also know that it hath sprouted up, that your understanding doth begin to be enlightened, and your mind doth begin to expand." Alma 32:33-34

Okay is that not the best promised blessing?? Enlightenment and expansion of our minds!! That is why His word is so important. Of course it won't all make sense immediately or even in this life- we're reading the words of an all-knowing God! But keep studying, experimenting, and having faith. Like the verse says, we can gain knowledge from faith! And that knowledge will become part of who we are, changing our minds to understand God better. Be blessed yall and stay cool out there!!
